Media Writing, Social Media: Young Composer's Competition Press Releases and Social Media Content
I wrote press releases, designed social media posts, and wrote blurbs for the winners of the Community Music School of Webster University's Young Composer Competition. The press releases were nationally released and the social media posts were viewed by CMS's thousands of Facebook followers. I have included a fraction of what I wrote and designed for brevity.

Local Student Frazar Henry Honored in National Young Composers Competition
Webster Groves, MO – February 27, 2023
Frazar Henry (16) of Bonita Springs, Florida, has won First Place in the Level One (ages 12-16) division of the Community Music School of Webster University’s international Young Composer’s Competition. Frazar’s composition, titled “Constellations” was described by judges as “evocative,” “adventurous,” and “quite beautiful.” Frazar, a student of Dorothy Hindman, is a critically acclaimed composer and pianist, having achieved many awards and honors for his compositions.
Frazar Henry’s “Constellations” will be performed and recorded by Chamber Project Saint Louis. The recording will be available to view on the CMS YouTube channel. He will also get one-on-one feedback about his composition from guest composer Nina Shekhar, whose work has been praised by publications like the LA Times as “surprises and delights aplenty” and by the New York Times as “tart and compelling.”
